Accomplishing our vision of building an industry leading maintenance, repair and overhaul facility is a difficult challenge. We at Empire Aero Center are committed to this vision and focused on the challenge.
Embracing the Empire Pillars of Success is the key to achieving a leadership position in the industry. The continued growth of a culture entailing "open, respectful communications amongst our people " is our most important Pillar of Success.
We have made some great progress in the recent past: strengthening our organizational structure, adding consistency to our shift scheduling process, posting all open positions and selecting internal candidates for leadership roles, hiring new leaders, winning a contract customer, commencement of leadership training, development of the pay/performance appraisal system, adding an "employee of the month" program, adding an educational assistance program, kicking off an employee incentive program tied to performance metrics leading to customer satisfaction, and completing a three year business plan. However, there is no question that we will continue to have new challenges ahead of us.
As I have said numerous times, we have a great group of people at Empire Aero Center and I couldn’t be more confident in our ability to meet the challenges and accomplish our goals. |
